Jack Rabbits is a small live music venue dedicated exclusively to providing artists a place to perform their original music. Though we are a small venue, we have a permanent stage, a professional in-house PA system and a Production Manager. Booking is done exclusively via email to Tim Hall of JaxLive.com. You will not receive a response from Jack Rabbits or JaxLive to any booking requests submitted via ReverbNation or Facebook posts, messages or chats to either Jack Rabbits or JaxLive or to anyone associated with either business.

Whatever link you provide MUST include the ability to stream a recording of original music written and performed by your band. If the link you provide requires a listener to either "Like" a page, register with the company or become a member of the parent company (such as ReverbNation) to be able to stream the music, then we will not hear your music.

Also, we do not download MP3 files or accept CDs for booking consideration. In your email, please also include your hometown and a range of dates that you are interested in playing. If you are from the counties of Duval, St. Johns, Clay, Flagler, Baker, Putnam or Nassau in Florida or the counties of Glynn, Camden and Charlton in Georgia, then we consider you part of the (very broad!) Jacksonville area and therefore a local artist. If you are a local artist with original material and want to play at Jack Rabbits, there is no approval process or audition required. For local artists, we want to hear your music so that we can make our best effort to match your band with other compatible artists. Not only are we often the first place a new local artist performs publicly, Jack Rabbits was founded in 1999 with the specific intention of being a venue that goes out of its way to be supportive of new local artists. Our Production Manager has years of experience as a "band guy" and a "sound guy" at Jack Rabbits. He is well known for his patience in working with artists that have no prior experience performing publicly.

Though situations can vary, we generally are focused on booking local artists four to eight weeks prior to their requested show date(s). If you are an established local artist that has played at other venues but not at Jack Rabbits, you are almost certainly will NOT be selected to be one of the local artists that play as the opening acts for the many touring artists that play Jack Rabbits.
