Once rebuilt on the same site of the original Auditorium, the facility was unique among the theater structures because of its size, versatility and unique interior and exterior design. The Shrine Auditorium and Expo Center is conveniently located to major freeways and points of interest. A part of the emerging cultural center of Los Angeles, the Shrine Auditorium is located across the street from the University of Southern California. The Los Angeles Sports Arena, the Los Angeles Coliseum, Exposition Park and Museums, shopping and theaters are all nearby. The Shrine is also within a few miles of Dodger Stadium.
