Specialties In addition to being New York City's premier small concert venue, Sullivan Hall is also an ideal space for events. We have hosted private functions including CD release shows and listening parties; film shoots and screenings; corporate events and company holiday parties; product launches and other special events. Our all-standing configuration can accommodate up to 345 people. We provide seating and cocktail tables which accommodates 32 people. We have the ability to accommodate 700 people by doing two floor events, using our sister club Sullivan Room below Sullivan Hall, which hosts an additional 300 people standing plus seating for an additional 50 people. Sullivan Room is one of the top DJ clubs in the country, having frequently won awards at the Winter Music Conference in Miami. Some of our clients host live music at Sullivan Hall, while providing a DJ and a lounge environment for their guests in the Sullivan Room. History Established in 2008 Formerly The Greenwich Village venue, The Lions Den, the venue was totally redone and opened as Sullivan Hall on January 1st, 2008. The space is a 345 capacity music and event venue located in Greenwich Village in downtown Manhattan near the New York University community. We are big music fans who frequent shows and are friends with many musicians and artist representatives. We listened to what they had to say about the type of venue they'd like to see in New York City. We created an ideal venue for both performers and fans alike. We put a state of the art sound and lighting system, and the space has near perfect sight lines.
