The first show at the Theater was Forbidden Broadway (1982) which originated in the space. Forever Plaid also originated at the Theater and has since become one of the 3 most successful shows in Off Broadway History. During the early 1990's stars such as Cher, Christopher Walken, Liza Minelli & Elizabeth Taylor would gather on a weekly basis to use the Theater for their own parties & performances. In 2008 a major 3 year renovation was undertaken to turn what was a Black Box Theater into a beautiful performing space echoing the movie palaces of another era. Meet the Business Owner: Peter M.
