1st Mariner Arena (formerly Baltimore Arena and Baltimore Civic Center) is an arena located in Baltimore, Maryland. 1st Mariner Bank Arena is located about a block away from the Baltimore Convention Center on the corner of Baltimore Street and Hopkins Place; it is also only a short distance from the Inner Harbor. It seats up to approximately 14,000 people though this number varies depending on the type of event.

Over the course of nearly a decade, The Golden West Cafe has become a beloved Baltimore culinary institution. Originally opened in a hole-in-the-wall sized space on The Avenue in Hampden, the restaurant relocated to a larger space just up the street in 2003 in order to accomodate the constantly expanding crowd of loyal regulars and curious new customers.
